“Danjuro VIII" Gallery Discussion and Virtual Tour using the Zoom format

This online event, using the Zoom format, will include a video tour of the show in the gallery, a presentation of print highlights, and a discussion time exploring stories of kabuki theater, stories of Edo Japan in the 19th century, stories of celebrity challenges and fascinations (represented by the career of Danjuro VIII), and stories of the dramatic potentials of theater and art. It is an online time aiming to be a brief transport to a world very different from our own.
