I often walk along the road where I live, Blood Brook, to see the landscape as though I'd never seen it before. I challenge myself to get lost in this place of rolling hills and meandering streams. Making quick paintings or sketches allows my mind to delve in and to feel the land as it is now and think about how it came to be.
