Friday, September 1 is the first day for gallery submissions for our Annual “Wild about Watercolor" show. (Show dates are 10/6/2023 - 11/25/2023). Wed., Saturday, Sept. 30 will be our last day for submissions. Submissions can be online, physically to the gallery, or both. Find here the web-site for link to the online submission form (submissions start on Sept 1).
Requirement for submission is that your work be made using water media. Acrylic paintings made with a water sensitive approach qualify. There is no residency requirement for participation in this show and you may submit one or two pieces. Sept. 1 we also begin receiving actual submissions of framed (ready to hang) work in the gallery. Last day to submit is Saturday, September 30.
Date for our “Wild about Watercolor" party is tentatively October 13, 5 - 7 pm. The party marks the deadline of online voting for favorites in six categories using an online voting format (October 13 at 6 pm). We hope to announce winners at about 6:30pm, during the party.
Last year we received 54 submissions, and 42 of these we were able to hang in the gallery (the rest can be seen in the online exhibit).
