Floor Cloths
Susan Arnold paints floor cloths on canvas sailcloth using attractive hand-printed and stenciled designs. Decoration work in her own house got her started developing the art form, with time she evolved to a technique of printing and hand-painting to produce floor mats that are extra rugged and rich in depth and texture. The art-form goes back to colonial times; with modern urethanes and an adventurous spirit Susan has built a unique aesthetic carrying an inviting handmade look.
