The view looking across Route 5 from Latham Road in East Thetford, Vermont in late summer. The field is often dotted with grazing cows tucked in under the tree in the distance, staying cool during the heat of the day. In the case of this image, the cows were in a different field so the grasses and Queen Anne's lace were tall and undulating like gentle waves on a lake, creating a sense of calm and peace.
