Mimi's house is a place of love and nurturing where grandchildren are free to play, create and discover whether it be playing dress up in the cozy attic, doing puzzles by the wood stove, playing badminton in the yard or making mudpies with old pots and spoons. I remember stopping by Mimi's one day, and Lucy and Leo were so excited to show me the nest of baby birds they had discovered in the back yard shed (now a play space, of course!). I caught this sweet moment with Lucy peeking to check on the baby birds.
