First day to Submit to “Wild about Watercolor 2022"

Friday, August 19 was the first day for gallery submissions for our Annual “Wild about Watercolor" show. Wed., Sept. 21 was the last day for submissions. We received 54 submissions. 42 of these are hanging in the gallery (the rest can be seen in the online exhibit). This show has really taken shape!
(Show dates are 9/23/2022 - 12/3/2022).

Requirement for submission was that your work be made using water media. Acrylic paintings made with a water sensitive approach qualified. There is no residency requirement for participation in this show and you may submit more than one piece. Aug 27 we also began receiving actual submissions of framed (ready to hang) work in the gallery. Last day to submit was Wednesday, September 21.

Date for our “Wild about Watercolor" party is October 14, 5 - 7 pm. The party marks the deadline of online voting for favorites in six categories using an online voting format (October 14 at 6 pm). We hope to announce winners at about 6:30pm at the “Wild about Watercolor" party. Consider bringing a phone or tablet to the event, our idea is to be able to offer voting online at the gallery during that event.
