Wild about Watercolor 2026
An open-to-all, combined online and in-the-gallery exhibit featuring the medium of watercolor.

This exhibit explores the variety and diversity of the wonderful medium of watercolor.
The show is a sharing but it is also a contest, and most pieces are for sale and on display in the MBFA gallery in downtown Lyme. Prizes (gift certificates at Stella's Italian Kitchen and Market, Cedar Circle Farm, Lyme Home and Hardware, and to Matt Brown Fine Art) go to works that garner the most votes in a selection of favorites in six categories:
-Overall favorite
-Most original
-Most flamboyant
-Most communicative
-Most atmospheric
-Most technically accomplished
Voting deadline is October 23, 6 pm.
To submit work, either bring work into the gallery or fill out our Submission Form - one for each piece, up to 3 pieces.
Party for Wild about Watercolor is Friday, Oct. 23, from. 5 - 7 pm.
